WM is hiring a Diesel Mechanic at its Walker, Louisiana repair and maintenance shop. The role pays $32–$36 per hour depending on experience and involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel trucks and equipment, responding to service calls, completing repairs and paperwork, and maintaining safe work practices. The schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., and requires two years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, legal work eligibility, and successful pre-employment screening.
