Amwaste is hiring a Diesel Truck Mechanic / Technician to perform preventive maintenance and supervised repairs on waste-collection trucks and related equipment. The role involves troubleshooting vehicle and equipment problems, diagnosing issues, adjusting or replacing parts, maintaining tools and the shop, and following safety and regulatory guidelines. The position requires basic vehicle and equipment maintenance knowledge, hand-tool skills, communication skills, and high-school-level math ability, with experience comparable to one or two years of similar work.
