Description
The Fleet Technician 3 diagnoses, adjusts, and repairs class 8 tractor and trailer fleet equipment, including diesel engines, powertrain, electrical, brake, cooling, transmission, steering, aftertreatment, and HVAC systems. The role also performs preventive maintenance, tire and vehicle reconditioning, road testing, documentation, and mentorship. Candidates need four years of tractor-trailer maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, DOT and brake inspector certifications, welding and diagnostic software skills, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation is up to $41 per hour plus shift differential, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
