Description
The Dietary Aide prepares and serves therapeutic diet meals, desserts, and salads for health center residents, sets up and cleans dining tables, and transports food and nonfood items. The role requires English communication, basic arithmetic, measurement and conversion skills, organization, teamwork, and empathy for elderly residents, along with the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds. Previous nursing home food service experience is preferred, and the position pays $16 to $16.50 per hour.
