Description
The Dietary Manager oversees the dietary department in a long-term care or healthcare facility, including meal planning and service, therapeutic diets, food safety and sanitation, inventory and cost control, regulatory compliance, documentation, resident dietary concerns, and supervision of dietary employees. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of nutrition and food safety, and strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities; related dietary or healthcare food-service and supervisory experience is preferred.
