Description
The Dietary Services Manager plans, organizes, and supervises the operations of a dietary services department in a healthcare setting. The role manages menus and special diets, food supplies, staff schedules, sanitation, patient dietary needs, physician-directed diet instructions, employee hiring and performance, departmental policies, safety, quality, and budget. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while three years of progressively responsible dietary services experience and supervisory experience are strongly preferred; current CDM or Dietetic Certification is required.
