Description
The Dietary Technician prepares and cooks large-volume meals for PRTF youth, CARES Center residents, and School Day students, maintains safe and sanitary kitchen and dining conditions, follows child nutrition and food-safety standards, controls portions and costs, accommodates special dietary needs, and documents food temperatures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of cooking experience in a health care environment or with childhood nutrition, basic dietary knowledge, English proficiency, age 21 or older, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to be covered by the organization’s insurance provider.
