Description
The Digital Communications Specialist will manage and improve the Edmonton Public Library’s websites, intranet, and microsites through content operations, accessibility, information architecture, search optimization, analytics, quality assurance, and web governance. The role coordinates web requests and platform enhancements with internal teams and external vendors, supports digital communications projects, and collaborates across Marketing & Communications, Information Technology, and other stakeholders. It requires a relevant post-secondary qualification, at least three years of experience managing content-intensive websites, hands-on CMS experience, and knowledge of web accessibility, user experience, SEO, analytics, and web standards. The position pays $37.50–$47.87 per hour, or approximately $68,521–$87,471 annually based on a 35-hour work week.
