Description

The Digital Hardware Design Engineer will design, implement, bring up, characterize, and validate digital interfaces and protocols for wireless chipsets used in Apple mobile products. The role involves system-level testing, hardware and silicon debugging, signal analysis, root-cause analysis, firmware and software collaboration, and integration with external chipset vendors, with approximately 10% international travel.

Required Previous Experiences: At least 10 years of relevant industry experience

Hardware/software co-debug experience on multi-processor embedded systems
Hardware debugging with modern laboratory equipment
Preferred Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant industry experience
Targeted silicon and digital interface testing
Modern operating systems, firmware, and device drivers
Wireless or cellular modem chipset validation
PCIe PHY validation experience
