Description
The Digital Hardware Design Engineer will design, implement, bring up, characterize, and validate digital interfaces and protocols for wireless chipsets used in Apple mobile products. The role involves system-level testing, hardware and silicon debugging, signal analysis, firmware and software co-debugging, and collaboration with internal hardware, silicon, firmware, software, and external chipset vendors. It requires a bachelor's degree, SoC and micro-architecture knowledge, experience with silicon bring-up or post-silicon validation, and familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces and hardware debugging tools. The position may require approximately 10% international travel.
