Google is hiring a Digital Physical Design Engineer to implement block-level physical design for custom silicon powering direct-to-consumer products. The role covers synthesis, placement and routing, design convergence, timing, congestion, power, signoff, and collaboration with RTL, architecture, and DFT teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least four years of digital physical design experience; advanced degrees, advanced-node SoC experience, and Tcl or Python automation skills are preferred. The position requires in-person interviews and offers work locations in New Taipei City and Zhubei City, Taiwan.
