Description
IMEC is hiring a full-time Digital Technologies Technical Specialist to consult with manufacturers in Illinois on digital transformation, smart manufacturing, Industrial IoT, automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and ERP/MRP systems. The role assesses technology and operational gaps, develops implementation roadmaps, leads pilot projects, manages third-party technology partners, and supports business development and solution development. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least three years of manufacturing or digital manufacturing experience, frequent travel, and the ability to work from a home office when not onsite at client facilities.
