National Geographic is hiring a full-time Digital Visuals Editor in Washington, D.C. to create original illustrations and edit photographs for digital platforms, commission and art direct photographers and illustrators, and manage publishing assets, workflows, captions, credits, archives, and pre-press image verification. The role requires at least three years of experience as an illustrator, art director, or photo editor, a bachelor’s degree, proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, and strong editorial judgment; editorial or journalism experience, digital-platform knowledge, and motion-graphics experience are preferred.
