Description
The Dir Automation and Engineering CoE manages high-complexity automated equipment projects across new and existing distribution centers, including conveyors, case sorters, shuttle systems, unit sorting, print-and-apply systems, and warehouse control systems. The role leads equipment deployment, vendor management, testing, project planning, cost and productivity modeling, solution design, stakeholder communication, and a small team of on-site process and equipment support engineers. It requires extensive automation implementation, project management, engineering leadership, and experience with distribution center start-ups, with significant travel to project sites.
