Description
Lam Research is hiring a Controls Engineering Director to lead its global hardware, firmware, and FPGA engineering organization for equipment control systems across multiple semiconductor product platforms. The role owns technology strategy, product development, qualification, release, lifecycle management, obsolescence, system troubleshooting, and cross-functional delivery, while recruiting and developing engineering leaders. The position requires a technical degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 12+ years, plus at least 7 years of engineering leadership experience. The role offers hybrid work models and a San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $168,000 to $350,000.
