Description
First Place for Youth is hiring a part-time temporary Direct Care Floater to provide direct supportive services to transition-age foster youth when assignments become available. The role covers in-person, video, and phone care; goal development; safety and crisis assessment; coaching, mentoring, and interventions; case management coordination with community providers; and documentation. It is authorized for up to 29 hours per week, requires ongoing availability for onsite and community-based assignments during regular business hours, and requires a relevant bachelor's degree, at least two years of child welfare or complex-transition-youth experience, a California driver's license, auto insurance, and a Community Care Licensing background check. The employer does not offer relocation assistance or work visa sponsorship.
