Description
The Community Assistant provides supervision, transportation, and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral needs as part of Community Access Individual (CAI) services. The role supports life skills, independent living, social activities, and approved service-plan goals; may assist with home caregiving; and requires documentation, timesheets, and completion of specified training. Experience working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities and behavioral needs is required, while ABA experience is preferred. Approved hours vary from 7 to 30 hours per month.
