STMicroelectronics is hiring a Direct Responsible Individual Characterization Engineer to lead optical and electro-optical characterization activities for image sensor, photonics, and light-sensing technology or product development programs. The role owns characterization planning, coordination, execution oversight, reporting, risk management, technical credibility, and stakeholder communication, while also improving measurement methodologies and mentoring engineers. Candidates need a relevant honours degree or higher, semiconductor and optical characterization experience, experimental design and data-analysis skills, and familiarity with Python, MATLAB, instrumentation, and laboratory environments.
