Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Associate I to provide direct care, personal support, training, supervision, case management, advocacy, assessments, transportation, and community and center activities for adults with developmental disabilities. The role includes supervising three to six participants, documenting progress, supporting work-site activities, maintaining safety and health standards, and performing general housekeeping. The position requires an associate’s degree in human services with one year of relevant experience or a high school diploma/HSE with two years of experience, a valid driver’s license, commercial passenger-van driving ability, and First Aid, CPR, and Physical Management certifications. The schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with work in a day program and the community.
