Description
The Direct Support Person provides training and supervision to residents with disabilities, assists with personal care, hygiene, mobility, meals, activities, transportation, and daily living skills, maintains a clean and sanitary home-like environment, administers medication, completes paperwork, and coordinates medical appointments. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older, a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance when the shift requires driving, successful completion of DSP classes, and Medication Administration authorization. Experience working with adults with disabilities is helpful, and the salary is $17.00 per hour.
