Description
The Direct Support Professional 1 supports adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and local communities by providing personal care, daily living assistance, community access, companionship, supervision, activity support, and documentation. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience providing care to persons with developmental disabilities or experience working with seniors in a human service field, a valid California driver's license, current CPR and First Aid certification, reliable transportation, and background and TB screening. The employer pays $19.50–$21.50 per hour based on experience.
