Description
The Direct Support Professional provides residential and employment support to people with disabilities, assisting with living and employment skills, personal care, schedules, transportation, medication administration, meal planning, finances, data collection, and a safe living environment. The role works Friday through Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with insurance, a clean driving record, and a successful background check, and requires the ability to communicate, respond with dignity, make sound judgments, teach techniques, and lift at least 50 pounds.
