Description
ACLD is hiring a Direct Support Professional for a residential program serving adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The role supports residents in achieving personal goals, provides structure and emotional support, assists with behavioral issues and personal hygiene, completes documentation, and transports participants to medical appointments and recreational activities. The position requires a clean, valid New York State driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, AMAP and SCIP certifications, and offers training for candidates without prior experience; cooking and light housekeeping may be required. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., totaling 16 hours.
