Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide essential support to individuals in Day Habilitation and ICF programs, focusing on enhancing their self-care, health, safety, socialization, and overall well-being. They facilitate personal growth, socialization, and skill-building in a community-based setting, transport participants to various activities, and foster meaningful connections. DSPs also ensure the safety of program volunteers, train them, act as liaisons, report issues, complete documentation, enforce agency policies, monitor training, and maintain necessary certifications like CPR and SCIP-R.
