The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Colchester, Connecticut, working Thursday through Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with personal care, recreation, daily living, social skills, health needs, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, transportation, meal preparation, and life-skills mentoring. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
