Description
The Direct Support Professional provides hands-on support, supervision, training, and daily living assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home. Responsibilities include hygiene and meal preparation, documentation, transportation, medication administration, financial assistance, housekeeping, and oversight of medication records, budgets, and household accounts. The role is full-time at 32 hours per week, pays $17.00 per hour, offers overtime, and requires a high school diploma or GED, minimum age of 18, a valid South Carolina driver's license, and acceptable driving record; one year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
