Description
The Direct Support Professional provides residential support to people with disabilities, assisting with living and employment skills, personal care, schedules, transportation, medication administration, meal planning, finances, data collection, and reporting abuse, neglect, or exploitation. The role works under the supervision of a Residential Administrator or Employment Coordinator, requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, a clean driving record, and a successful background check, and includes duties such as lifting at least 50 pounds.
