Resources for Human Development is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Germantown, Philadelphia, to provide person-centered care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral health challenges. The role includes assisting with personal care, implementing individualized service and behavior plans, administering medications, monitoring health and safety, transporting individuals, documenting services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The schedule includes weekend shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with flexible scheduling and possible weekend, holiday, and on-call hours. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, six months to one year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, CPR and First Aid certification, and basic computer proficiency; medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits are offered.
