Advancing Opportunities, Inc. is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional in Toms River, New Jersey, to provide person-centered care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes personal care, meal preparation, daily living skills, community participation, companionship, documentation, and adherence to individualized support plans. No prior experience is required because paid training is provided, but applicants must be at least 20 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and pass required background, drug, physical, and PPD screenings. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with weekend hours paid at $20.50 per hour.
