Resources for Human Development is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to provide person-centered, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role assists with daily living activities, promotes independence and community involvement, provides supervision and physical assistance, supports medication administration, documents services, and responds to emergencies. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of relevant experience or qualifying training, a valid driver’s license, English communication skills, and the ability to pass background screenings. The schedule requires two weeknights per week plus Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts of approximately six to seven hours on weeknights and eight hours on weekends.
