Description
The Direct Support Professional provides direct support to individuals in residential or periodic programs, assisting with service plans, personal care, medication administration, health monitoring, meals, transportation, community integration, and daily living activities. The role also maintains records, supports relationships with families and case managers, reports incidents, and may perform housekeeping, minor repairs, and vehicle transportation. It is a non-exempt full-time or part-time hourly position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of human-services experience preferred, a valid driver’s license, computer knowledge, and completion of required training and background checks.
