Description
The Direct Support Professional provides direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and periodic community programs. Responsibilities include implementing individualized service plans, assisting with personal care, housekeeping, recreation, transportation, community integration, medication administration, health monitoring, meal preparation, recordkeeping, and reporting incidents. The role works in the afternoons and evenings, is paid $15.00 per hour, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of human-services experience, a valid driver’s license, computer skills, and completion of required training.
