The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them achieve personal and developmental goals, participate in community activities, and manage daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication, personal care, and outings. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a registered vehicle, auto insurance, a valid unrestricted driver's license for at least one year, background-check clearance, and a patient, compassionate, reliable approach. It offers $15.25 per hour, full-time on-demand pay, and full medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) match for full-time employees working 32 or more hours per week.
