Description
The Direct Support Professional assists an adult client enrolled in a day program with daily living, social, academic, and behavior-management training; monitors and charts behavior; supports changing; and provides emotional support and feedback to the client and support system. The role works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., pays $16.25 per hour, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of social services experience, a valid driver's license with three years of driving experience, and the ability to lift 50–100 pounds. Experience with developmentally delayed populations is preferred.
