Description
The Direct Support Professional supports persons served by mentoring them, helping them learn and practice skills for home and community success, documenting Individual Service Plan outcomes and facility records, supporting community connections, attending service and self-government meetings, guiding responsible choices, and transporting persons served as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older, CPR/First Aid and other required certifications, a Class E driver’s license, background and drug screening, and strong communication and teamwork skills; experience with people with developmental disabilities is preferred. The salary is $17–$18 per hour.
