Description
The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with disabilities in building independence, community integration, and personal development. Duties include 24/7 safety monitoring, crisis prevention, activities of daily living, medical and behavioral care-plan implementation, documentation, transportation, social and leisure activities, and community participation. The role is full-time or part-time, may include weekends and holidays, and requires a high school diploma or GED, a Michigan driver's license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, and basic computer skills.
