Description
The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with disabilities in achieving personal goals, community integration, independence, and participation in daily living, social, vocational, educational, and medical activities. The role provides 24/7 safety monitoring, crisis prevention, activities of daily living assistance, medical support, care-plan implementation, documentation, and community connection. It is available on second- and third-shift part-time schedules at Harbor House, requires a high school diploma or GED, Michigan driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, and basic computer skills, and offers $17.13 per hour with medical, vision, and dental care depending on full- or part-time status.
