The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with disabilities in achieving personal goals, community integration, independence, and participation in daily living, social, vocational, educational, and medical activities. The role provides safety monitoring, crisis prevention, activities of daily living assistance, medical support, care-plan implementation, documentation, and community connection. It is a full-time, 40-hour, second-shift position in Broderick, Michigan, requiring a high school diploma or GED, a valid Michigan driver's license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, and basic computer skills.
