The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals, community integration, independence, and participation in daily living, social, vocational, educational, and medical activities. The role provides 24/7 safety monitoring, crisis prevention, activities of daily living assistance, medical support, care-plan implementation, documentation, and community connection. It is a full-time or part-time position requiring scheduled shifts, weekends, and holidays, with a stated wage of $17.13 and medical, vision, and dental benefits depending on status.
