Description
The employer is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on personal care and community support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Bel Air area. Duties include assistance with hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning, with a focus on increasing independence. The role is scheduled for 15 hours per week, including Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a regular base pay of $22 per hour and a $1 per hour weekend shift differential. The position requires a high school degree or GED, a current driver’s license with fewer than three points on the driving record, and willingness to perform some lifting and transferring; paid training and benefits are also provided.
