Description
Lifelong Access is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for its Supported Living program to provide community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs follow each individual’s Person Center Plan and Implementation Strategy, assisting with personal care, household tasks, transportation, skill building, and other activities that promote independence and life fulfillment. The role is available full time and part time, pays $18.35 per hour plus a $0.50 per hour increase after med authorization training, and requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it, a valid Illinois driver’s license, automobile insurance, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
