Description
The Direct Support Professional provides person-centered, hands-on support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, illnesses, and guests experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, housekeeping, meals, appointments, community engagement, safety checks, documentation, and referrals. The role requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance when using a personal vehicle, physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and strong communication and judgment skills. Full-time, part-time weekend, and floater positions are available, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
