Description
The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals, community integration, independence, and participation in daily living, social, vocational, educational, and medical activities. The role provides 24/7 safety monitoring, crisis prevention, activities of daily living assistance, medical support, care-plan implementation, documentation, and community connection. It is available full-time or part-time, including weekends and holidays, and requires a high school diploma or GED, a Michigan driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, and basic computer skills. The position offers a $17.13 wage, medical, vision, and dental care, retirement, paid time off, training, and other benefits.
