The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in East Lyme, Connecticut, to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, transportation, meal preparation, and life-skills mentoring. The schedule is Saturday through Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication ability, and the ability to work with limited supervision are required; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
