The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Norwich, Connecticut, to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves delivering personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community-integration, and behavior-management support; participating in individualized support plans; administering prescribed medications; completing documentation; providing first aid and CPR; transporting participants; preparing meals; and mentoring participants in life skills. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
