The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Colchester, Connecticut, working Sunday through Wednesday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. for 40 hours. The role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through personal care, recreation, daily living, social skills, health needs, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, transportation, meal preparation, and life-skills mentoring. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication ability, and the ability to work with limited supervision are required; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
