The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in East Lyme, Connecticut, working Saturday through Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with personal care, recreation, daily living, social skills, health needs, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, safety, transportation, and meal preparation. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to mentor participants; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
