The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Dayville, Connecticut, to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, safety, transportation, and meal preparation. It requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to mentor participants; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with 24-hour coverage noted.
