The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Waterford, Connecticut, to provide personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community-integration, and behavior-management support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes participating in individualized support plans, administering prescribed medications, completing documentation, providing first aid and CPR, transporting participants, preparing meals, and mentoring participants toward independence. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a starting hourly rate of $20.20 and benefits including health, dental, and life insurance.
