The Arc Eastern Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Colchester, Connecticut, for a Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. schedule. The role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through personal care, recreation, daily living, social, health, rights, community integration, behavior management, medication administration, documentation, transportation, meal preparation, and life-skills mentoring. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer aptitude, English communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision; prior experience with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
